I hope you get your internet connection fixed soon and are able to enjoy the game with the wiki running. However enough memory, be it CPU-cache, RAM or HDD/SSD with enough speed might improve performance while if there is a bottleneck somewhere down the road it might cause similar effects to lag just because the game might transfer more data between RAM and slow HDD. But that´s just my basic understanding of how that works. It´s not like you are constantly downloading/uploading/streaming something. Just for the record: A wiki is a static page with mostly text so a couple of kilobytes, you download the page you are looking at once and that´s it. (its easy to test, setup a download in background using 98% of internet and hook rates in game drop to 10% 1 in 10 fish get hooked rest just buzz drag and vanish.) Take a look and drop an update, would ya? :-) We need more information on Lures, someone needs to refine the Retrieval Techniques page, a tiny beginner's guide, keepnet vs. but I've been creating some basic pages and trying to put together stuff like Recommended Gear Sets for Lucrative Fish, putting in tables of license and travel costs, etc. I've given up on most of the work that was done before.Īs such, I present to you the beginning stages of an attempt at gathering up-to-date information at Wikia.: ALL of which have out of date information, such as Missouri being our home state.and none of which I could register with in order to make edits and update things. In my searching for various information regarding Fishing Planet, I've come across three separate wikis.

In Dead Space: Extraction, the weapon is first found in the hands of a deranged engineer in Chapter 1.The Rock Saw was first seen in Dead Space: Downfall, used by Jennifer Barrow to kill herself however, until the release of Dead Space: Extraction, the tool had not been given an official name. Its main usage is to interrupt strikes from Necromorphs, particularly when reloading a primary weapon, as well as cutting through certain obstacles- mainly "fleshy growths", similar to the tentacles used to block the door leading to The Leviathan. It is not possible to dismember a Necromorph with the Rock Saw, and it may not even be possible to kill them with it - Necromorphs are certainly capable of taking multiple hits from this weapon with relatively little damage. When retrieved, it is mentioned that the Rock Saw functions by transforming kinetic force into an electronic discharge, thus amplifying its physical impact. The Rock Saw is the sole melee weapon for all playable characters in Dead Space: Extraction. Evidently the laser is quite powerful, demonstrated by the ease by which it sliced through Jennifer Barrow's neck when she committed suicide. The front end is a standard metal pick with serrated edges, while the back end can be folded out to create a laser for slicing and cutting various materials. The Rock Saw seems to be a mining instrument designed to mine and cut ore from rocks. The Rock Saw is a weapon seen in the movie Dead Space: Downfall and in the game Dead Space: Extraction.
